Industrializing Additive Manufacturing
16–17 september 2026 | Nöjesfabriken i Karlstad
Lunch to lunch
AM Meet-up brings together manufacturing industry, technology providers, decision-makers and research organizations to share knowledge, experiences and practical solutions related to the industrialization of additive manufacturing.
The focus is not on visions and hype, but on what is actually required to scale production.
AM Meet-up 2026 is organized within On Demand 2033 in collaboration with Innovatum Science Park.
With its roots in research, academia and technology development, Innovatum strengthens the connection between knowledge environments and industrial implementation.

From first edition to a growing platform
Following a successful first edition in 2025, AM Meet-up returns in 2026 – in a larger and more accessible format.
For 2026:
- The event moves to Karlstad to accommodate more exhibitors and participants
- All activities take place indoors, reducing dependency on weather conditions
- The format expands from a one-day event to a lunch-to-lunch experience
- The event opens up for additional partners and broader international participation
The ambition is for AM Meet-up to grow into a recurring and established meeting place for the AM ecosystem in Sweden and the Nordics..
Theme: Industrializing AM
This year’s theme focuses on how additive manufacturing moves from prototyping and testing to stable, repeatable and profitable production.
Topics include:
- Scaling from prototype to series production
- Integration of AM into existing production environments
- Automation, quality assurance and repeatability
- Digital workflows, data and supply chains
- Industrial use cases and lessons learned
All presentations and panel discussions will be held in English..
Who should attend?
- AM Meet-up is aimed at:
- Manufacturing companies exploring or scaling additive manufacturing
- Suppliers of AM technology, materials and services
- OEMs and subcontractors
- Decision-makers, engineers and production managers
- Research organizations, innovation environments and clusters
- Stakeholders contributing to and strengthening the AM ecosystem
Whether you are early in your AM journey or already producing at scale, AM Meet-up is a platform for relevant insights and valuable new connections.
