The initiative explores how Swedish industry can build resilience through on-demand manufacturing of critical spare parts and components, enabled by additive manufacturing.

Sustainable Steel Region is a regional collaboration platform strengthening the sustainability and competitiveness of the steel industry. By bringing together companies, academia, and public actors, SSR drives innovation and green transition in Northern Europe’s metal industry. In On Demand 2033, SSR serves as project owner and coordinates strategic efforts around supply security and industrial resilience.
Paper Province is a world-leading business cluster in forest-based bioeconomy, based in Värmland. It unites companies, academia, and innovation hubs to create the sustainable materials, products, and processes of the future. In On Demand 2033, Paper Province contributes expertise in circular solutions, industrial collaboration, and applications within the bioeconomy value chain.
Propell is an innovation hub based in Hudiksvall, helping companies grow through digitalization, sustainability, and need-driven development. They provide coaching, test environments, and business development with a human-centered approach. In On Demand 2033, Propell works to identify specific industrial needs and match them with additive manufacturing and on-demand solutions.
Sandbacka Science Park in Sandviken is a regional innovation environment focused on smart industry, digitalization, and sustainable production. Through business support, testbeds, and collaboration between industry and public sector, Sandbacka supports the development of future manufacturing. In On Demand 2033, they connect small and medium-sized enterprises with new technologies and business models.
